About Surimi

SURIMI is an “Intermediate” product prepared from low valued white meat fishes. Mechanically de-boned fish flesh is washed repeatedly with chilled water to remove water soluble proteins along with undesirable substances like fat, blood & enzymes. The dewatered fish-flesh is mixed with cryoprotectants such as sugar, buffering agents like polyphosphates and frozen stored.

We at ‘GOAN FRESH’ always ensure procurement of the best quality fish, resulting in high quality frozen Surimi. The fish that is brought to the factory is very fresh. The freshness of the fish gives the best quality Surimi to our esteemed buyers.

Our company promoters have largest pre-processing center named “Ocean Pearl Fisheries, Malpe” established in the year 1995, which processes annually 22,500 Metric tons of Headless raw material for Surimi, which is then supplied to various Surimi Factories across India. With this concept of supply business which we have been running since over two decades our promoters believe it is the right time to step ahead. Hence they developed an idea of putting their own Surimi plant, having an advantageous factor of headless surimi supply which ensures us abundant quantity of quality raw material to feed the plant in full capacity throughout the season which ensures to commit volume business to overseas buyer reaching deliveries on time without compromising in quality.
